ABOUT DR. BUSCHBACH
Knowledge, Experience & a Personal Approach to Care
Dr. Jacqueline Buschbach provides compassionate, personalized dental care for patients of all ages.
She deeply values the trust her patients place in her, taking the time to truly listen to their concerns and offering gentle, unhurried chairside care—especially for those who feel anxious about visiting the dentist.
Raised on Chicago’s South Side and a proud alumna of Mother McAuley High School, Dr. Buschbach graduated summa cum laude in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University, where she served as Class President, received the Dean’s Scholarship, and earned awards in Implant Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, and Leadership.
Dr. Buschbach completed a General Practice Residency as Chief Resident at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY where she was invited back to serve as an Attending Doctor in a teaching capacity.
She continued teaching at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She gained valuable experience in private practices in New York and Minnesota before returning home in 2024 and joining Dr. Gupta. In 2025, she proudly acquired the practice and remains dedicated to upholding its 25-plus-year legacy of clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Outside the office, Dr. Buschbach lives right here in Elmhurst with her husband, James, and their three energetic children.

I had my first experience with my new Dentist Dr. Buschbach and her team of professional. It's always been unnerving for me to go to the dentist, especially a new one. I've had several bad experiences with the dentist which had me terrified of the dentist. This team of professionals were the most patient, courteous, caring professionals, I have came across in a long time in a dentist office. Dr.Buschbach and her assistant\ nurse unsure of her title provided step by step information letting me know what they were about to do, what needed to be done during the visit and made sure I was comfortable and understood. The nurse/ assistant explaining and demonstrating how and what exactly needs to be done to maintain good dental hygiene. I am so happy that I have found a dentist that I feel safe enough to open up my mouth. LOL did I mention they had a great sense of humor/ chairside manners.

Elmhurst Dental Health Center with Dr. Buschbach was an surprisingly an Amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. Even the lobby was inviting, with refreshing drinks available while waiting, which added a nice touch to the overall experience.
What truly sets this office apart is Dr. Buschbach. She is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and has an amazing approach to patient care. She took the time to build rapport with me, thoroughly explain every step of the process, and ensure I felt comfortable and informed throughout my visit. Her expertise and calm, caring demeanor immediately put me at ease.

I visited this dental office due to some concerns about my teeth and molar that I had been having issues with, I was able to get an appointment very quick. Once in the office the receptionist took care of me and the appointment started right on time. I was seen by Dr. Bushbach she was very knowledgeable and very helpfully especially explaining the different ways in how to fix issue, she took the time and effort to describe the best solution. I have much apprehension and nervousness about visiting a dentist. From the moment I went into the exam area I had a real calm feeling. It just felt warm and welcoming. Dr. Buschbach was wonderful, made me feel comfortable and explained things clearly. I really appreciated Cindy taking the time to explain my billing and insurance coverage. Hyatt, the dental hygienist was very good and careful. Out of all the dentists I had lined up I'm glad my transportation service was only able to take me to 1200 S York in Elmhurst. I see Elmhurst Dental Health Center and I in partnership for all my future dental needs. Thank you all for making my return to a dentist a good experience

Dr. Buschbach is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and skilled in her expertise. My husband and I see her for our own care, which we very much appreciate — we also take our children to see her. I never ever thought in a million years that my 3-yo twins would love getting their teeth cleaned as much as they did. The staff, hygienists and, of course, Dr. Buschbach, were all top notch.

I had such a wonderful experience at this dental office! The dental hygienist Kayla was incredibly gentle, kind, and thorough. She made me feel completely at ease and took the time to explain everything she was doing.
The doctor who came in to check my teeth was just as great — friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. It’s clear that both the hygienist and the doctor genuinely care about their patients and their comfort. I’m so glad I found this place — highly recommend!
